Ajay Nangalia
Hi Folks.. I'm looking at doing my first ever trek in last week of March or first half of April 2023. I'd like the weather to have shifted away from winter as I'd prefer not to trek in snow or invest in cold weather gear to start with. Would really appreciate some input on weather in last week of March or early April? Will it be much warmer in early April? I'm also hoping to avoid summer season rush, so from which month does it start to get crowded? Thanks for your input 😃 👍
SuhasSaya
Hi Ajay April is a wonderful time to trek. I would suggest looking at early April if you want to avoid snow. As you move towards the Spring season, snow starts to melt. March is still the time when you have accumulated snow on the trail from the winter season. Having said this, you might have snow during the last day/summit day on most of the treks until mid of April. It all depends on the amount of snowfall in different spells over the winter months. It is also the time when you don't have the summer crowd. So anytime between mid to end of April is a good time to go
