Anjana Menon
Hello Community... I am a first time trekker based in Gurgaon.. Looking forward for the Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek from April 1 to 6 with Debosmita.. Is there anyone going for the same trek ? How are you all getting trek ready ? I don't run and walking 10 km in 90 mins is quite a difficult target to achieve.... Do reply if you have any suggestions to help me..... Thanks Anjana Menon
Hazel
Hi Anjana, I am so glad to know that you have signed up for this beautiful trek. Yes, there are other trekkers who are also going on this trek along with you. A Whatsapp group will be created a month before your trek date. The link to join it will be available on your dashboard, you can join it & get to know your trek mates & can interact with them. Ali Bedni is a Moderate trek & having the right fitness is very important. When you ask any experienced trekker, they'd say fitness is the most important thing you need to have in your mind right now. Let me tell you why: ➡️ Being fit helps your body to adjust/acclimatize to higher altitudes. ➡️ You will ensure you are safe.➡️ You will be able to enjoy the views and not struggle throughout the trek.➡️ More importantly, if you are fit, you will be able to complete the trek. 🔴 We have seen trekkers who are unfit go on the trek and not even reach the 2nd campsite. I do not want that to happen to you. The video below will help you understand what will happen if you are no prepared. https://youtu.be/WZocACEsJbk Also, to know how prepare for your trek, visit: https://youtu.be/lQ_LxiUsVBQ I hope this helps :)
