I've been watching some vlogs on the KGL trek and there seem to be quite a few tricky/difficult sections on the trail - made more difficult when it rains. I'd like to know if the Valley of Flowers trek might be easier in terms of terrain or lesser amount of tricky/difficult sections than the KGL? Aniketh0905 Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 Hi Ajay, The Valley of flowers and Hemkund Sahib is a very suitable trek for beginners and older people compared to Kashmir Great Lakes as it has paved trail so that when it rains it will not be slippery. one thing to keep in mind is that both the treks have steep climbs.
