Mohit
In my case, I had to find out all I could about there being any narrow stretches in the trek with steep fall before being able to select & committ for the trek. Luckily I found all the information needed through the detailed documentation on the section for each day description of the trek, videos, photos and also specifically asking the question on the email with coordinator. lastly, I guess because I shared this with my group, I got all the support from everyone and the guides especially Rahul bhai who ensured to never leave my side on the somewhat “narrow” stretches I found to overcome my fears ! DC trek has been the highlight of my personal achievements till date and the experience is something I will never forget.
Shailendra Jindal
You can overcome this by looking down at footsteps of your fellow trekker in front of you. Pls do not look sideways in the valley etc.
Dr Sree
If you're afraid of heights but still wanna trek, I'd say start with small treks around your city... Short and easy 3-4 treks are there around most major south indian cities. Then once you get more confidence and surety of steps, you can prepare and try for an easy Himalayan trek 🙂
