Trek Gear Rent for Kedarkantha Trek

Hi, I just checked that many items are unavailable to rent on the Indiahikes website.

Will there be a local place nearby the base camp to rent trek gears? How do I go about it? Will the gears be readily available in January (peak trek season)? Any leads/insights on this would be great, thanks!

Hi Shivaang, 

The rental bookings for Indiahikes treks open a month before the date.

Further, since we begin trek from Kotgaon or Gaichawan, there are no stores available where you can rent/purchase last minute gears from. 
I would strongly suggest you rent the gears in advance.

There is no size detail given for jackets on IH rental site. And there is no option to exchange jackets if size smaller or bigger needed.

How do I take a call if I need a size medium or larger as it varies from brand to brand. Any standard to measure which size to go for? I have a trek in mid December, so need to plan and rent the jackets in advance. Could you guide on that please.
