Winter Charm

Hello Trekkers,

Today I'm sharing, my first ever snowfall experience. Had on my Basic Mountaineering Course last year. I must say snowfall adds the different charm to the mountains. Although it was a mid-april but still got an opportunity to experience the heavy winter like snowfall, it was falling until we started descending after 12 days. And completely felt in love with it. Days were challenging but all worthwhile. Peaks were getting covered in fresh snow blanket. Each step on the fresh sheet of white snow is like gives you feeling of first step! Everywhere. Swoosh sound also comes which surely makes anyone to roam for no reason like a child. It will be a time when anyone can be thankful and starts appreciating for each and every smallest thing in their life.

First picture shows when we reached the base camp. As you can see a completely dry yellow grassland. It was visible only for that afternoon. Afterwards in mid-afternoon snowfall started and didn't stop for next 15days. As you can see 2nd picture shows  how beautiful transformation can be possible through snow on same dry land.
